Time Flies By

It seems as though it was yesterday

That I was playing hide and go seek

Little by little does it matter now, what I did then

Day by day

Year by year

It all flew by

I can remember every detail of my

Childhood

Adolescence

Teen years

But only do I realize now

That what stayed with me

Aren’t the grades or fights

But laughter and love

These are the things that

Mattered

Matter

And will continue to matter

I will cherish my memories of love and laughter

And I will always share these memories

With the ones I love

And create more memories

With those I love
